Vegan Irish Coffee

Get warm and cozy with an Irish coffee made with whiskey, freshly brewed coffee, a touch of sugar, and vegan whipped cream.

2 ounces of whiskey*
14 ounces of freshly brewed coffee
1 tablespoon brown sugar
6 tablespoons of vegan whipped cream or use one of your choice, such as Silk, Reddi Whip (non-dairy), or Trader Joe's coconut whipped topping.

In a small heat-proof pitcher, measure out your whiskey.

Next, pour in the freshly brewed coffee.

Add the sugar and give it a good stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Pour the mixture into two clear glass Irish coffee mugs and top each with whipped cream.

At this point, you can sprinkle the top with cinnamon or dark cocoa powder, or add a cinnamon stick as we've done here. (optional).

Double the recipe for four servings. Serve while hot, and enjoy!

*Most whiskey is vegan, except for the addition of honey in some cases. Just be sure to read the label before you make your purchase.
