Crispy Vegan Popcorn Chick'n

Deliciously crispy, deliciously seasoned, and gone in an instant. You might want to make a double batch!

16-ounces extra-firm tofu

Make the Batter:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup dairy-free milk

For the batter, sift together all of the dry ingredients. Whisk in the milk and set aside.

1 packet of active dry yeast
4 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons oil, divided
⅔ cup baking soda
3 tablespoons Aquafaba (whipped), or coconut oil (melted)
coarse salt for sprinkling
